Its all happening on the house and moving front. Mor has her contract meeting for the new apartment, so we take her to Sandnes, and repeat the lovely drive from the Lauvvik ferry past the fjord and all the little lakes along the Ims/Hommersåk road to Vatne. We have decided to pay a visit to the Bakeri/Konditori (bakeri/patisserie)in Hana, which will be her nearest cafe when she moves. Mr.Jones is very happy with this cafe visit,and if he approves I think we are on to a good thing. This cafe has been here as long as I can remember and it used to be one of my favourite stop-overs as a child, on our way to the family hytte in Tengesdal. We have a surprise treat while mor is busy signing contracts, as the pottery shop in Langata in Sandnes has a big sign on the door, saying “We happen to be open today, so please come in and have a browse”. We are in for a nice surprise by the time we are greeted by the 7th generation of Simonsen potters.
